The Individual Membership is now in its 9^th year and has seen its membership grow steadily since its formation. All events are run based on a 100% payout of all entry money received from its members. Cost is £25.00 per year, which enables you to play in five prestigious events at various venues throughout Scotland. Each area elects an Individual Membership Representative. After the conclusion of season's Individual Membership, if your ranking position dictates you could gain selection into one of the Scotland teams: Players finishing in ranking positions 1 – 4 shall be awarded a place in the Scottish A Team Squad. Players finishing in ranking positions 5 – 12 shall be awarded a place in the Scottish B Team(s). All area draws are now carried out by the tournament committee/IM representatives. These draws are computerised and carried out well in advance. They will be posted to all area reps and also uploaded to the SPA website: www.scottishpool.com. The top 16 ranked players from the previous season shall receive automatic qualification into the finals of Event Nos. 1 – 4 but shall receive 1 ranking point LESS than all other players.
